Senate Bill 408 "Hospital Acquired Infection Act"
NMHA serves on the Health Care Associated Infections Advisory Committee (HAIAC) which reported data collected from six hospitals on:
- Central line-associated bloodstream infections (CLABSIs)
- Influenza vaccination rates of health care workers
New Mexico hospitals that participated in the Pilot are:
- University of New Mexico Hospital, Albuquerque
- Memorial Medical Center, Las Cruces
- San Juan Regional Medical Center, Farmington
- Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center, Alamogordo
- Presbyterian Hospital, Albuquerque
