The New Mexico IHI Node, a collaboration between the New Mexico Hospital Association and the New Mexico Medical Review Association (NMMRA), promotes the implementation of changes proven to improve patient care and prevent avoidable deaths in New Mexico Hospitals.
The NM Node has hosted visits by IHI representatives, which include workshops for hospitals such as:
- Protect Lives by Preventing Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA)
- Surgical Site Infections and Other Surgical Complications
- Target Zero: Pressure Ulcer Management Across Health Care Settings in New Mexico
The IHI Improvement Map is an online tool that distills the best knowledge available on the key process improvements that lead to exceptional patient care.
