These documents and web links are additional resources for medical surge capability development within your community and in our state.  By working with us to build these medical surge capabilities within your community, you will also help satisfy Section 7.7.2.25 Disaster and Emergency Management of New Mexico State hospital licensing requirements.

Plan:  Each hospital shall have in operation a written plan for disaster and emergency management developed with the involvement of the hospital's executive, medical, and nursing staff and designed to ensure that each hospital is prepared to provide effective and efficient response to disasters and emergencies occurring in the community directly served by each hopsital and in neighboring communities in New Mexico and adjacent states.
