Trauma Funding
Through a united effort of NMHA, Governor Richardson and the State Legislature, a new funding system was implemented in 2006-2007 to preserve the three trauma centers that existed in New Mexico at the time and to encourage the development of new centers. These efforts have been successful in growing the system of trauma care.
